By accessing or using ihatebookmarks (including our web application at ihatebookmarks.com, browser extensions, mobile shortcuts, and APIs), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access or use our services.

2. Description of Service

ihatebookmarks provides productivity software designed to help users capture, organize, review, and search bookmarks from social media platforms (such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X) and web pages. We offer both free access tiers and paid subscription plans (Plus, Pro) with enhanced features.

3. User Accounts & Responsibilities

• Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account.
• Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and are solely responsible for any activities that occur under your account.
• Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering for an account.

4. Subscriptions, Payments & Cancellations

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis depending on your selection:

• Payment Processing: Payments are securely handled through our merchant partners, Dodo Payments and PayPal. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize regular recurring charges to your payment method until cancelled.
• Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time directly through your billing settings. Upon cancellation, your access to paid features will remain active until the end of your current paid billing period, after which your account will revert to the Free tier.
• Refund Policy: If you are dissatisfied with a paid plan or were charged accidentally, contact support@ihatebookmarks.com within 14 days of your initial purchase for a full, no-questions-asked refund.

5. User Content & Intellectual Property

• Your Content: You own all rights to the bookmarks, tags, personal notes, and categories you save in ihatebookmarks. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license solely to host, display, and synchronize this content to provide the service to you.
• Our Intellectual Property: The ihatebookmarks name, logo, visual designs, software code, user interface, and trademarks are the exclusive property of ihatebookmarks and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

6. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following activities:

• Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or compromise the security of our application or infrastructure.
• Using automated scripts, bots, or crawlers to abuse our servers, bypass rate limits, or overwhelm API endpoints.
• Storing or bookmarking content that infringes upon the intellectual property or legal rights of any third party.
• Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing the service without explicit written permission.

7. Third-Party Links and Platforms

ihatebookmarks allows you to save links to third-party platforms (such as YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter). We do not control and are not responsible for the availability, content, or privacy practices of these third-party platforms. If a third-party post is removed by its author or the hosting platform, ihatebookmarks cannot restore the original external media.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ihatebookmarks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your access to or inability to use the service.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support.
